Dalmore 45 Year Old Whisky

An exceptionally limited annual release from Dalmore showcasing the depths and finesse of their aged stocks. Richard Paterson Dalmores Master Distiller has once again meticulously blended a variety of casks to produce one outstanding Whisky. Only 500 bottles have been released of the 2023 release and only 45 of these bottles are available within the UK.
Like all Dalmore single malts, Dalmore 45-Year-Old whisky has first been matured in ex-bourbon barrels before being transferred into casks which previously held Cabernet Sauvignon. The liquid then spent the last remaining 5 years of its maturation journey in port pipes of a 1961 vintage Colheita Port.
Expect bold and complex notes of fig, rich molasses and Seville orange on the nose which leads into a palate of Manuka honey, cranberries, and dark chocolate. The finish lingers on the tongue with more notes of dark chocolate and toffee.
