About the product:Frey Ranch is best known for their bourbon and their rye, yet the distillery is also wildly adventurous. If it’s a grain and they’re growing it, it’s a safe bet that they’ve explored distilling it. Most of their more unusual releases are highly limited and available only through the distillery’s tasting room. So we wanted to make sure we got something extra special, yet broadly approachable, for the Estate Collection.Made from 100% Frey Ranch-grown soft white winter wheat, this single cask has a warm, spicy, fruity nose, with notes of cherry blossoms and spring flowers. The soft, creamy palate has hints of strawberries and cream, rounded oak, and gentle spice. Like all the best straight wheat whiskies, this is subtle and complex yet with real heft.
