This release was finished with 10 staves of white oak toasted using Indirect Heat on an Egg + 10 staves of white oak charred using Direct Heat. The result is a beautifully balanced bourbon full of rich, caramel notes, with subtle oak.

FiddlerBig Green Egg Bourbon starts withASW Distillerys famed wheated Bourbon mash billthat was then matured in the hot, humid Georgia summers fornearly 7 years, including the final 2 years in a secondary toasted barrel.

ASW Master Distiller Justin Manglitz worked with Big Green Eggs team to toast his famed hand-harvested white oak staves on Big Green Egg’s legendary ceramic smokersat their Atlanta headquarters, just a stones throw (or three, depending on your arm strength) from ASW Distillerys Midtown location.

Half of the staves were charred using Direct Heat, exposed immediately above the fire, while theother half were toasted via Indirect Heat from the coals.

• Charred Oak Stavescreated a Bourbon with subtle wood smoke character underpinned with notes of dark chocolate and rich oak, with a long savory finish and ample tannin structure. The staves were charred using Direct Heat on an XL Big Green Egg.

Both batches were bottled at Barrel Strength, approximately 118 proof, for a robust sipping experience
