Ross-on-Wye Brown Snout & Chisel Jersey Oak Cask Cider 2019-2021 is a marriage of two different vintage of two historic and characterful bittersweet cider apple varieties grafted in 2014. In 2019, the first crop was fermented in oak casks, producing a powerful, chocolatey cider.
The tannins needed time to soften though, so they waited two years and added some of the softer, gentler 2021 harvest to the blend. The end result is a cider with remarkable depth and complexity and the joy of both young and mature cider in the same glass.
